Are there any in the Denver/FC area? Just stumbled upon them last night and really want to ride one. Seems like it would fit my needs of sumo/canyon carver.

Fay myers is the only place that comes to mind. Check erico maybe?
Haven't seen them at Fay yet, but that's about the only place that might get one around here. Motobreck gets KTMs too but that's a little far

I checked all the websites. They advertise them, but don't say anything about having any in stock.
Has anyone heard anything bad about them? Know anyone that has ridden on or has one?

Got ahold of fay today and they said that they immediately sold all 2012's and 2013's will be in around march for $8999 w/o fees and taxes.
Also there are 7 deposits for their 2013 690 enduro's!!!
I'm also considering the 690 smc.

The new 990 SMT has caught my eye. Might have to drop by Fays some lunch hour.

Are they having any demo days anytime soon?
KTM in breck had an RC8R demo from like 2 years ago. THat's as much demoing that I'm aware of for KTM in Colorado. They killed their trackside demo program. I think it was in Ohio

I was looking at the 690 Duke too. Claimed weight is 330 lbs.

Being a buck 20, I really appreciate the 280 lb. weight of my DRZ. It's a great bike for around town and general hooliganism, but with a 5 speed tranny and zero wind protection, it literally blows for highway riding. The Duke thumper is a lot more polished and would be much better on the superslab, and still fun in town. Been thinking about selling my FZR and DRZ and getting something new, and the Duke is def a consideration.

KTM Duke 690
The KTM 690 Enduro's are da bomb! I've ridden a 2011 and it was awesome! If the SMC or Duke are similar, it'll be a helluva bike. I would think the Duke would be a small twin though. THe 690 Enduro's a thumper.
