So, here's an interesting little tidbit. SCCA just finished an event at Circuit of the America's, where Formula 1 ran last November, and there were several Colorado drivers there.

I compared the COTA lap times of 6 Colorado drivers to their 2012 HPR lap times, and came up with an averaged "correction factor" of .7855 (ranged from .7792 to .7886, so pretty consistent).

When you apply that correction factor to the F1 COTA Pole time from last November (1:35.657) you come up with a theoretical time for an F1 car at HPR of 1:15.140!

Those cars are amazing!
