If you pry a corner piece out all the pieces come apart and you
can put it back together complete.

Way back when (i.e. when it came out), I was able to do it in well under a minute. In fact, I eventually got so bored doing it with my hands that I started seeing how fast I could do it with my feet.

True...don't get my started on the health of America Matty! I'll go off and nobody wants to hear it here considering the "Get in Shape Thread" is vacant nowadays. But who needs good health when you can have Assault Weapons...right dirkterrell...much bigger problems evidently!

Although you see me and it can be done; I go to the gym then come home and plays games when I am too tired to get off the couch. Just got done beating Max Payne 3 and was awesome game...Crysis 3 will be the next one

I finally solved one a few weeks ago.

The hardest part is remembering the algorithms. I cheated and looked up the algorithms on the internet, There is no way I would have been able to solve it without them.

That is it funny how much everyone gets worked up about gun laws on this site, yet obesity is the real issue in this country. Every post on guns gets a lot of replies, but trying to get anyone into fitness here is nearly impossible....and pretty much country wide

No offense to you (since I have no idea on your health), I just notice you are one of the ones that always post on gun threads and posted above me on this thread

I'll heed Ezzzzy1's request not to plug up his thread by discussing the concept of individual freedom.

I can respect that. I'd love for you to discuss it with me in the "get in shape" thread so I can show you how "individual" choices of bad health is messing up this country way more than guns; ex: healthcare, disability, cardiac arrests, diabetes, rising need for doctors, etc....

I use to be able to do two sides, but could never do three, and definitely NEVER solve the entire damn thing!

Were you aware that in 2010 they proved that God's Number (the minimum # of moves to solve any arbitrarily mixed up Rubik's Cube) was 20 (Rokicki et al, 2010)? That is, not coincidentally, the graph diameter of Rubik's graph.

If you can't do it in 20 moves (Dirk) you are failing. You now have something for a new challenge - solve the cube in 20 moves every time.

I hadn't followed it much after losing interest in it. Interesting details (and source code) at
