They are a mess for sure. Not sure why they are having so many problems with a patch.

I felt the seams were a little iffy before, but holy hell, today felt terrible. You have to cross 4 or 5 of those things in 6, I have NO confidence down there. I also was afraid of 7 and 13

Yeah I had some run ins with those tar snakes too. Definitely made me skittish through that turn.

Nah, 8 is usually a concern but I didn't have any issues there today, it looks fine.

There's a nice long strip all the way up the entrance of 7, with 2 small gaps in it. I altered my line to make sure I went through the gap, so I was going in early on every lap. I had no interest in crossing that shit at ~80mph with the bike leaned over. I stepped on a tar snake in the parking lot and it was like jelly under my boot. Hopefully it's brand new and will harden over the next 5 days. I'm worried about it, but then again, I'm not one of the faster guys out there so maybe it's my own issue to deal with

In other news, I shaved 2 seconds and did a couple 2:08s. Can't wait to get some race tires on that bitch and get some more

Not a bad day out there, but yeah that tar up 7 was a surprise. If you're racing Round 1 with the MRA, don't forget we're running the North course only this weekend... turns 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are not a factor. We'll be running 4S instead:
