Cant decide whether to abuse some demo bikes or hit the canyons. Anybody going to Fay today, Friday?

longrider, I tried to get on some demo bikes in Daytona during bike week, this was years ago. By 10AM they had reservations for every demo bike throughout the day already filled, except for Buell. Is that likely to be the case at Fay or is it going to be show up and throw a leg over one?

BTW, I still have no idea what lane bashing, however, it sounds like something you would need a Busa to do.

I'm going to try sneaking down at lunch-ish to see if there are spots. Being Friday it might be easier to snag a last minute ride.

Won't lane bash though, I don't have a "prospect" badge and vest or a beanie helmet.

I am on my way Saturday, hopefully it's not hella crowded. But if they have 13-15 bikes out there, then should still have a good shot to ride all the ones I want as I'll be there all day.

Oh BTW anyone who goes, can you post the lineup of bikes they have there for riding? I believe there were 13 or so last year. I am especially curious if they have a DRZ and the new SV

On signup, it is first come first served and you can sign up for later rides today. Tomorrow's signup does not open until tomorrow. That said, it is not filling up real fast so there are still openings for this afternoon.

Almost all the bikes are available, there are all 3 GSXRs and a Hayabusa plus a DRZ400SM. I don't expect much interest here but there also is the full lineup of Boulevard cruisers plus a couple scooters.

I still would like to ride a Boulevard and I'll ride a scooter if the GSXR's are for the session. No word on the new SV tho?

I have a DRZ, Yea there is a V-strom and those things are friggin heavy.

I sat on everything except the cruisers and the Scooter.

Never knew just how wide those Busa's were till i sat on it.
