Unhappy Meetup.com Denver Sport Bike & Sport Touring Riders REVIEW

Please forgive me CSC. I went out on a ride with this group today...... I'm tired, worn out and completely baffled.
Don't assume from the title that there were only sporty bikes there. Apparently the Denver Adult Riders Club has some stake in this setup and well..... They fucking ride Harleys. Now I don't hate the big pigs. Hell, I'm even getting one this summer (1952 Pan head) but why the FUCK are they the ones in front? Oh, to be fair there was 1 Japanese bike and a Ducati Dievel in the midst of the 10 Darc riders. And we did break 80 a few times.
Anyway, pounding pavement up I-70 two riders were having a hard time keeping up because they are new. One bailed and the other me and another rider kind of kept an eye on during this 7 hour debacle. I know I'm slow sometimes and all that but damn at least nobody ever told me I HAD to keep up. Took 9 up to wherever, boring until passing cars with 20 bikes in tow. Up to 14 and down Poudre Canyon was completely miserable. I was bored. I was cold. Dropping back to try and make some fun out of the canyon is OK sometimes. But not for 100 miles. So that's that.
Now if you want to get a bike wash by bikini clad women/naked women with old men that wear shorts and a helmet on a ride I might see you there. But unless you're a newer rider that can pull triple digits in the straights.... I'd stay away.
Blaaaaah! I'll be forwarding the CSC site to a couple guys to save them from that hell.

It's amazing how many so-called riders can mess up a good thing. That's why there are great deals on used motorbikes out there I guess.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

I saw someone make a pretty stupid pass on a double yellow by the airport and almost hit an Ambulance head on, I guess that would worked out in there favor?
