    Lean Angle Jeans ??

I just found these mentioned on A Ride Apart "Sweat or Bleed"

    http://leananglejeans.com/

I'm curious if anyone has tried them? I really need some good riding pants that I can wear at work as I commute daily, ideally I'd love to try something locally but haven't had much luck. I want pants that fit and don't look like protective gear, I'm reluctant to drop $200-250/pair on jeans I haven't tried on though.

    Thanks!

    Draggin Jeans: $110 http://www.dragginjeans.com/category.aspx?categoryID=1
    Alpinestars padded shorts: $50 http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...T.ac=SLIsearch
    Fieldsheer Knee armor: $72 http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...T.ac=SLIsearch

You could put together something similar but the end cost is about the same.

FWIW I have a pair of A* padded shorts and some Carhartt jeans with knee armor, for a fraction of the price. Only thing missing is the kevlar lining.

I dont think they are worth 200-250 I've got Joe Rocket jeans I paid 99 bucks for brand new, while the Lean Angle may have a bit more padding not 150 bucks worth. Buy leather for that price.

All of these under 100bucks, unless I'm missing something great about the Lean Angle listed on their site for 259.99.

Include the price for armor for a true comparison.

    Re: Lean Angle Jeans ??

FYI all the jeans I have been looking at are in the $150-$250 range with or without armor. Joe Rocket is not built to my body type at all, almost anything that is is a "premium" jean.

    http://www.maplemoto.com/ - $375 with current rates, ugh.
