    My Sunday ride down South

So I finally was able to go on a long LONG bike ride with some good friends of mine. None are on this board though.

Met at the gas station on Santa Fe and C470 at 830am.

Went to Sedalia then cut over and took the back way to Palmer Lake, then Monument. Hopped on 25 South to the Springs and hopped on HWY 115 to Florence and over to Canyon City. Took the canyon up to Salida then Buena Vista and then 285 all the way home. Absolutely amazing weather, no cops, no gravel, just great riding. Other than rain off and on from Fairplay through Evergreen area it was great.

We had a good variety of bikes.

    Gixxer 750
    Gixxer 600
    SV1000
    Street Triple
    Gixxer 600
    Monster 1100
Can-am Spyder Sport. <-- this thing was no joke. I had no idea how quick they are. 1000 vtwin and it could haul and was in the front of the pack the entire time.

Sadly, the go pro my friend had messed up and hardly any of the video came out since it was blurry like condensation...ugh.

    Otherwise, great last huge ride.

I ride down south all the time. The only area I have not hit this year is the million dollar highway. I want to do that ride sometime before the season is up.

Those can-ams are fun. If you have riden a snowmobile you know to lean hard in to the turn, its the same with them. sad part is abs and computers kick in once in awhile when you hard in to a turn. but they are a blast some small recalls on them. but all in all worth owning

We like our RS. It's great for two up and long trips .. loads of trunk space. Not as fun as a sport bike but more like a large sport tourer.
