Heated Gear Options (Battery Powered)

Looking for a little information on heated fear. Specifically, a rechargeable battery powered vest that I can use for both riding and skiing. I have had Gerbing gear in the past and what bugs me is the cord and the control system. Looking for something that works well on the bike and off so it has to be battery powered and not 'plugged in'.

Activeheat seems to have what I am looking for but I can't find a place locally that sells it which is a red flag on the product. Anyone have any experience with this type of gear? Know anywhere locally that sells it?

Been thinking about these myself, but keep flip-flopping between limited battery life vs cords on multiple bikes.
