Denver Special Emergency moto cops?

Saw these guys out on the road at 6th and Sheridan in the AM a few weeks ago. Really caught my eye because:

• It was pretty late into the season to see bikes out, 12/20, weather was cold and wet that particular day.
• First time I have seen a Denver moto cop bike (blue and red lights attached) with a sidecar
• First time I have seen those white plates on the back of a moto cop bike. I don't remember exactly, but they either say "Special Emergency" or "Medical Emergency".
• Seems like CO is switching over to BMW or Kawi for their cop bikes, these guys are still on HD's

Anybody have info on who these guys are??

What they said. I have an acquaintance that does this in Indiana, on his Concourse.

I knew this was the right place to ask, awesome pics and info 60pan!

I just assumed they had to be cops because of the lights on the bike, but it makes sense blue and red is allowed for escorts.
