Planning a summer trip to LA

Do any of you have a trip planning website you like? I'm looking for a site (ideally with an iPhone app) that I can use to map my route, make notes and keep planning details on.

Tentative plan:
Denver --> Las Vegas, do the Stratosphere SkyJump
LV --> LA - spend a few days, hit the performance shops, Angle Crest Hwy, Mullholand Dr and two class days http://socalsupermoto.com/school_sbf.html and http://socalsupermoto.com/school_sbf.html
LA --> SF via PCH and recommended interior roads
SF--> Bonneville
Bonneville --> Denver

Do the skyjump in the evening or when it starts to get dark. I think that would be really cool with all the lights on!

cops on Angeles crest suck. Get over to angeles forest highway instead!
