Bike down McCaslin and 36

Saw a police and tow truck extracting a nice red multistrada (?guess?) from just east of the south side of the McCaslin overpass at about 3:30p today. The bike was about mid hill, right adjacent to a landscaping wall, in no-mans-land between the two eastbound onramps. Quite a curious place to be. Either it came down from above (jumped a curb/cliff), or up from below (shady under-bridge ice?).

I'm curious how it got to such a weird place. Surely some situation I've overlooked.

Hope the rider is ok, gotta watch the conditions. So tempting to take the bike out what with the warmup, but shade or as soon as the sun goes down all that melt turns to ice.
