Charlie,
I'll be coordinating the days at Pueblo this summer and details will get posted up as we get closer.
Last year I limited the number of participants for the day to avoid overloading the track and I suspect that I'll do the same this year. We have a lot more track time planned this year and I'm planning on going all out for the events. Keep your eyes peeled, the first day is July 27th and then we have all of Labor day weekend (3 days!) in the end of August.
Bike prep:
Is pretty simple. I'm only going to cover the "mandatory" items, not the "good idea" items.
Prepping the rider:
A full face helmet
an all leather one or two piece suit. If you have a two piece suit it must zip all the way around, not just in back.
Gloves that extend past your wrists
Boots that extend above your ankles
Prepping the bike:
At pueblo all antifreeze must be drained and flushed from the bike and replaced with straight water and water with water wetter. These are the only acceptable contents of the cooling system.
Tires should be in good condition with at least 50% of the tread remaining
Brake pads should have at least 50% of their life remaining
Mirrors removed
all lights disconnected and taped over
the bike should be in good condition, no leaks (including fork seals) and fasteners tight and proper.
Looking forward to seeing you out there.
Scott
Scott,
You forgot a back protector is required
Joe
You almost forgot that R6s are not allowed to crash in turn 3 or any other turn. Also, no landing on your head unless you are a bike owned by someone else!!
Come on, Scott!! I love you so much; I just keep finding these pictures online that have you in such precarious situations.

Be sure to check Pueblo's schedule first, some of their "open" days are designated for cars only.
