Did you know that leaning in a car helps take corners better?
I did it today in a 05 Malibu and there was a lot less body roll. Your not removed from the world when you are in a car your just in cage. I learned that today.

That's what I thought too. But with both driver and passenger leaning it keeps the body roll to a minimum. Try it.

Maybe in your Smart car.

Ok, someone HAS to have the pic of the guy "hanging off" the car that's missing the door.
I knew when I saved it years ago it would pay off someday

And if you make turbo noises you'll gain like 200 horsepower

I don't know if leaning does anything but I know for a fact that if you look through a turn like you do on a motorcycle, it does help you through a turn. Basically the whole look where you want to go concept.

Yep. Clay Turner beat that concept into my head when he would ride with me; "Look ahead! Look ahead! Look ahead! Eyes up!"
Some scientific proof that the minuscule movements of one's torso has a significant effect on the inertial body roll of a 3,000lb vehicle.
dude...its a panda!!!....at the kiddy park. we left him there one day so he could make some friends (people of the mental capacity that they would be willing to look up to him). unfortunately when we came back for him the 3 year olds had made him their B&*^%. oh well, ya gotta try.
I can testify that roof handles in the backseat of a car are a fun way to induce donuts in the snow.
To think that leaning a hundred pounds 18" to one side or the other has any discernible effect on the center of gravity (and thereby the amount of body roll) of a 3500 lb car is laughable.

You begin your riding career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
