Years ago, most movie bad guys had either Russian or German accents. Then we went through a phase where British accents were spewing all the bad guy diatribes. Arab/Persian seems too obvious but they are doing it a lot in movies now. So, what's the next accent to fall prey to Hollywood?
I'd guess Afrikaan should be next. It's distinctive, there hasn't been too much exposure, and the German-Dutch-English give me the creeps.
