We drove by a Taco Bell today and Sammy asked if I liked Taco Bell. I told her that people don't actually like Taco Bell, they just eat there. So, do people "like" Taco Bell?

mehh...
When comparing the bell to authentic mexican food, it's total and complete crap.
If you're looking for fast food options, I would not be opposed to a couple of tacos from there. If I had my choice between there and say, Jack in the Box or Del Taco I'd choose Taco Bell.
Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.
Bleh. When they re-released the cheesy crunchy gordita, or whatever it's called, I went there and bought 2 because I used to get those all the time. Got through the first one and about threw up. I haven't been back since.

There are a few things that are pretty good. First, their bean and cheese burritos are awesome. But then again, how does one fuck up beans and cheese in a tortilla?
The quesadillas are pretty good too, and their steak is actually pretty good for being fast food. Otherwise, I don't spend my day dreaming about dinner tonight at Taco Bell.

Taco Bell reminds me of 10th grade c. 1983. Sometimes I reminisce by having a meal. Seriously terrible slop though. I have eaten at the headquarters and still, terrible.
I will say though, I compare Taco Bell to most mexican restaurants. Sadly Taco Bell has better food than some mexican restaurants. I've definitely eaten at a mexican restaurant (like El Azteca in Winter Park) and considered the meal at Taco Bell to be FAR better quality, taste, and overall "my stomach happiness" the next day.

I'd rather eat at Casa Bonita. That's right, I said it.

Is it even "food"?
I've only eaten Taco Bell exactly once. On a CSC ride a couple years ago actually, where we ended up in Monument and I was starving.

People's affinity for taco bell is directly proportional to how drunk they are.

Count me in the "it's ok, cheap, and convenient, but there are better options" group. I won't go looking for one, but if they're my only option, I won't necessarily avoid them. Like Ricky said, I've had some "authentic" Mexican food from some places and thought Taco Bell was better.
Jack-N-Grill is by far the best!!!

Taco Bell is foul, just foul and I don't like that place. After getting sick there a long time ago, I won't go back. I never really did like Taco Bell but for the most part it's cheap and usually one is always close to snag a quick lunch at.
I don't know what it is, but their taco meat always tasted like it was swept up off the floor at a meat processing plant, then bagged and given to Taco Bell to use. Only thing Taco Bell has that's decent are their nachos. But even then, if you get the Bell Grande, you've got the same meat that gets swept off the floor and is used on the tacos.
I'm sorry but Taco Bell just sucks ass, Del Taco owns them by a mile. But I'm not sure if Denver has these mexican joints but down here in the Springs, we've got Monica's, Taco Express, Taco Star, Alfonso's and Albertacos, all of which(except for Albertaco's) flat destroy Taco Bell and even Del Taco. Only reason I never liked Albertaco's is it was a big Ricer/Squid hangout and seemed like those clowns would always destroy the restaurant. You'd go in there and it looked like a bomb went off, food everywhere, total dump.

I, for one it seems, actually love Taco Bell. Those steak quesodillas with extra jalepeno sauce are God's gift to man, and I will absolutely go out of my way to pick up Taco Bell. So much better than a burger any day.

I only eat there every couple months or so, but I do like it. Especially when you get a fresh chalupa shell...
