    This video shows the distance I was following very well and it was close indeed. Definitely glad I learned this lesson now and not the hard way (taking someone else out). Thanks everyone for your input.

    The very last clip at the end, where the dude like leans hard off his bike and turns, then straightens up mid turn, and does it again. Looked like the back of a Yamaha.

    I simply can't help but respond to the word in bold above with HWY-105 last fall. Slow(ish) me arse. And how can I say this? I was right behind you. I can agree, however, that it was steady.
    105 is an easy road, so was just covering ground on that ride.

    Finklestein87 and I did talk at the top of Golden Gate Canyon. I did try to advise him to stay back during the beginning of the ride as he was trying to ride side by side on the road. I hope you get in plenty of riding this summer and hopefully I'll meet up with you again.
