I miss my SUomy Spec-1R Goorbergh.
I do like the Scorpion Everclear anti-fog and shield replacement system. I've owned top of the line Shoeis and AGV helmets that couldn't compare.

I really like my Bell Vortex. Super comfortable, and I've logged 16,000+ miles in it and it still feels great.

The one with a horse on it. It really protects my head. And best of all it fits in my wallet.......

I just bought this HJC CL-16 "Hellion" at Motorcycle Depot. It fits my long oval (alien shaped) head well, matches my other gear, and it was cheap enough so that I don't worry about it being stolen when I lock it down.
It has a pin-lock system so you can attach an anti-fog insert inside the shield. It works great.

My old favorite was the AGV Rossi Mugello

Now my favorite believe it or not is my new Icon Variant Gloss black with the dark smoke shield. I really didn't think I would love this thing as much as I do.

hows the wind noise on the ICON? Ive been thinking about getting one like that to.

Suprisingly not that bad. They did a lot of testing on the design with wind noise and buffeting. doesn't even try to rip my head off like I thought it would. My head is actually more stable looking forward due to the spoilers and airflow through the visor. looking to the side or up you do get a little pull as to be expected but for an "urban" helmet its great. Leave it at home if your going to be doing anything over 100mph.

I have no images handy, but I loved and miss my old AGV Rossi. The original sun and moon helmet.

Wow nice AGV! Thats a good graphic.I have not owned very many helmet brands, but the one I currently have is the KBC Force RR. Its cheap, has good standards, and has stayed together with some considerable distance mileage on it. Some of that mileage has even been on the snowmobile. The Sheild getsd replaced every year and thats about it Very good helmet and would highly recommend it to users on a budget. Now, since having a DUI and not being able to ride for a bit...i found the positive and am saving for a Super Nice lid. Like the Arai Corsair V Scott Russell! Mr. Daytona! Cant wait to get it. HAve always loved his graphics.

X-11, best helmet ever. Had 2 of them, both just gloss black, nothing cool yet never happier.
Loved the looks of my Arai Edwards replica, but the X-11 is the better helmet. I'm thoroughly bummed it's been replaced since the X-12 isn't getting the same rave reviews.

I've got an RF1100 now which I like, but I really miss my Shark, that thing was so comfortable and I loved the graphics.

I really like my Icon Airframe Construct. It is really comfy and the exposed carbon/fiberglass/Dyneema weave under a layer of clear coat is pretty neat. I also like that I haven't seen any one else with it. It has lots of great features and is well designed and built. My only complaint is the noise level on the highways.
I don't know what is going on in this picture but.....
Is ANYONE actually happy with the noise level of their helmet on the highway?
I'm only on my second helmet. First was a cheapo ($80...lol) Bell at Wal-Mart. I had no idea just how stupidly uncomfortable it was until I tried on something actually made to wear for more than 30 seconds at a time.
Fell in love with the Scorpion line, and got an EXO-1000 last year on sale for $150. Drop down visor sold me, and the pump up cheeks have actually come in more handy than I though they would. Only feature I find little use for is the locking visor...it locks just slightly open to allow more airflow. Problem is that it's primarily the winter time that it is handy, but then I need to open the visor all the way at stop lights and trying to find the little latch on the side to unlock it so I can lift it all the way is a pain, rendering it basically useless.
But yeah...love my Scorpion. Scorpion just seems to have the best bang-for-buck value out there on their stuff.

My all time favorite helmet that I have owned.... an old school shoei, I think it was an rf900 or something with the rabid Odie on the back, lots of memories. But also my old x-11 Daijiro memorial helmet back in 04'. Biggest regret was selling that helmet.
I picked up this Suomy Apex Fabrizio before my ride to Durango last week. It's as light as my AGV, and quiet at speed. Venting feels adequate with the forehead and chin vents open. I had to adjust the size with 10mm XL cheekpads, which didn't smush my ears as much as the 15mm M.
When life throws you curves, aim for the apex
