Triumph Speed Triple - Stolen in Co Springs

    Bike found in Pueblo!!!

Good afternoon CO Motorcyclists! I am in need of a few extra eyes on the road! I have a friend in Colorado Springs that had his Triumph Speed Triple stolen on Monday from Dublin & Union area in COS. The License plate is 018-UNG. He not only had to deal with the Waldo Canyon evacs (family house in Mountain Shadows), but then got robbed to boot. If any of you could take the time to repost the pic to your rider friends it would be much appreciated! The more eyes in CO we have looking for it, the better chance we have of getting it back! There is a group set up for info and updates on the bike called Find Cricket. Thanks so much guys!!

posted from Colorado Motorcyclists FB page.

The owners parents were part of the group that was robbed in COS during the Waldo Canyon Evac at their hotel, and within days he had his bike stolen so they are having a string of bad luck. I'm hoping with enough ppl, we can get some luck workin in his favor!! THANKS AGAIN! Much appreciated!

Damn what's up with all these stolen Triumphs?! Hope he gets it back, ridiculous that someone feels the need to steal, especially under the evac circumstances and everything. I'll keep an eye out up north.

    Hopefully he gets it back!

That's not a bike you'd miss seeing out and about. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

    hoping for a "speedie" recovery...

Don't bike thieves know that Triumph owners are not right in the head?!

Here's Sonny on video, at least they are getting some good coverage. The eggsuckers also stole some priceless family letters. May not have been the ones that stole the bike, but still sucks.

    From the owner Sonny:

"Cricket will be home tomorrow! She was found 7/16 but I just found out today from our awesome CSPD. PBD pulled the guy over on the highway. He had a warrant & is now in jail waiting to find out where he will be prosecuted. I'm in the process of talking to the police & will keep everyone posted when I learn anything new. I have to pay a ridiculous 444$ to get her out. Does anyone know why it is so much & is there a way around it? I'm kind of po'd PSD didn't try to get a hold of me or leave a message? Thank all of you for your overwhelming help, interest, & understanding. TIME TO RIDE!!"

$444 dollars??? That's horseshit! You might as well get comprehensive with a 500 dollar deductible and hope it never gets found.

Sounds like Pueblo may be the epicenter of stolen bike scene.

Yeah I had a neon that was stolen and recovered years ago. They wanted more then the car was worth to get it out, so I told them to shove it up their ass and that they were more corrupt then the fuck bags that took it in the first place.
