I'm kind of surprised there isn't much dirt talk talk going on in this forum. Are there not many trail/mx riders in Co? if so that needs to change.

Didn't post anything here about it, but I took Tuesday off and went exploring around in the Central City, Idaho Springs, Rollinsville areas looking at old mining towns. I'll definitely be going back to do more. This was mainly a recon run...

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Okay, here ya go. This was two weeks ago. I decided to go dirt biking in Breck for my bachelor party. It was me, Jay (Bodhizafa) and my soon-to-be father-in-law. We went up to Tiger Rd and just explored. Man, was it rocky and steep. Good times.
Good times
Not bad views
What's a bachelor party without a couple of goats?
But by the end, it's off to the ER. Ran out of talent. Gravity sucks!
Maybe I shouldnt get a dirt bike.. you spend alot of time in the er!
Tiger Rd? I see, you went up the difficult side. I want to go up the easy side from Montezuma.

Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.

Yeah, we started at lower swan fork rd (I think) and did a big loop back to Tiger. I'm not an awesome trail rider, so I thought it was a little challenging with all of the rocks and steepness, but nothing impossible. When we came back down the north side, it had washed out a bit and got a little challenging.
That's almost how it felt too. Kind of surreal.
