    I have both leather and textile, and never wear the leather. The textile is lighter, more adaptable. The leather looks better, but that's it. Could be warmer than the textile in the cold. Just my 2...

    Leather is slower to get cold, but stays colder longer, also stays wetter longer when you get soaked.
