. Grt planning
We've used something like these at work. They work great but after being put away for the winter they don't seem to hold much water.... The second year they all sucked.
Hopefully for the cost those don't.

No... They come from a safety supply store in Denver. I'll try and find out.
We have these http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...ling-Vest.aspx
For the cost they may not last 6hrs as claimed by Revit, but I can vouch they last a couple of hours before having to be recharged. Their cooling capability (and that of all evaporative) vests depends on the amount of presoaking, the ambient temperature & humidity, and amount of airflow. For instance on the highway with a naked bike, with mesh gear on a dry day, the rate of evaporation will be a lot greater than in the city with a fairing and at lower speeds.

We typically wear them over a thin t-shirt and under our mesh jacket. They fit close, need to because you want to keep the moisture against your skin for max evaporative cooling. I've never worn them dirt biking, mainly because we wear body armor suits and you can throw a light jacket or dirt jersey over that, plenty cool.
