Just got back from a week out in Moab. Crazy weather, one day of clear skies followed by a day of gusting dust storms. When the wind was not howling it was great. Hit up several areas to get the feel of sand, slickrock, and trails.

Longs Canyon, this was up near the top where things got interesting with a steep sandy climb and this big rock. I think it's called Pucker Pass.

There is awesomeness in the desert everywhere
A must do for a return trip someday. I could easily have spent another couple of weeks hitting more trails and working on my dirt skills. Sand, ledges, slickrock, gravel. We got a good taste of each and from here on out it's just degrees of level of difficulty.
