This reminds me of the girl here in Boulder a week or two ago that nearly sideswiped me while doing her nails. I just don't understand how people can be doing that stuff while driving.
Maybe I'm different, maybe I'm OCD, or maybe I'm just paranoid, but when I'm driving on busy streets in my truck I don't even have so much as the radio on because I'm looking out for morons trying to kill me in their 1-2 ton coffins.
Anyone want to start a new campaign to get drivers to start paying attention and looking for motorcycles more?

People are doing almost everything while driving, except really paying attention to the road. It makes me so angry when I see this happening, that I just want tothem and tell them to pay F*cking attention to driving, dumbass !

Takes a bit of time from your day, but you CAN call the cops and have them ticketed(I believe), if you are willing to stop and talk with the officer. Plus, you *might* have to go to court, if they protest the ticket. That is to say, if you actually want them to have the ticket stick, you'd have to go to court. 42-4-1402. Careless driving - penalty.
(1) Any person who drives any motor vehicle, bicycle, or motorized bicycle in a careless and imprudent manner, without due regard for the width, grade, curves, corners, traffic, and use of the streets and highways and all other attendant circumstances, is guilty of careless driving. A person convicted of careless driving of a bicycle or motorized bicycle shall not be subject to the provisions of section 42-2-127.
(2) Any person who violates any provision of this section commits a class 2 misdemeanor traffic offense, but, if the person's actions are the proximate cause of bodily injury or death to another, such person commits a class 1 misdemeanor traffic offense.

I do believe as a rider though we do become more aware of what is around us when we are in our cars. Because I have that rider "sense" I am more apt to look for riders. Not only that, I have respect for them as well!
